Deadline for tribal entities to apply for DOE grid resilience formula grants. Funded through the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law and administered through the Building a Better Grid Initiative, the Grid Resilience Formula Grants program is designed to strengthen and modernize America’s power grid against wildfires, extreme weather, and other natural disasters that are exacerbated by the climate crisis. The program will distribute up to $2.3 billion over five years and will provide grants to States, territories, and Tribes. More information here.
