ESI’s co-founder, the Microgrid Systems Lab, is once again producing the annual NM Distributed Energy Summit (virtual). Please join us on Zoom for this important event that affects our Native communities:
Please join us on Thursday, June 23, and Friday, June 24, 2022 for a holistic look at the challenges and opportunities presented by New Mexico’s transition to Net Zero emissions by 2050 and at the role energy must play in this and in holding global warming to 1.5 degrees. The event will examine the policy landscape; pathways, results, and research from related transitions elsewhere; initiatives underway here; and the implications for equitable economic and workforce opportunities.
There is no charge to attend, but advance registration is required. Registration deadline is June 17. Register at the Summit webpage. The Zoom link will be provided to registrants shortly before the event. If COVID-19 conditions permit, Santa Fe Community College will host an on-site tour of its Smart and Microgrid Training Center on Friday afternoon, June 24 – see separate sign-up in the registration form.
